Epic Smart Academy began with a simple conviction: that every child learns best when they feel seen, safe and believed in. What started as one educator’s calling has grown into a trusted Bangsar institution that has guided 5,000+ students — from their very first words to their university offers.
We’ve never chased size for its own sake. We’ve stayed focused on what works: understanding each child, keeping parents close, and pairing strong academic teaching with genuine warmth. Three decades on, that philosophy still shapes every lesson across our programmes — from early years right up to Pre-University.

Mrs Mayurni Patel
With more than 30 years in education, Mrs Mayurni built Epic Smart Academy on a simple philosophy — treat every child as your own. A passionate Cambridge English and Bahasa Melayu teacher, she personally shapes our teaching culture, ensuring each student is challenged academically and supported personally. When you message us, you’re speaking directly with the person who set the standard.
Chemical engineer turned teacher; 9 years leading IGCSE Maths, Add Maths, Physics, Chemistry & A-Level Maths.
Engineering graduate, Master’s in progress; 7 years teaching Physics with a hands-on, real-world approach.
15+ years’ experience; tailors every lesson and is known for building real confidence in her students.
42 years teaching BM for Form 1–5 & IGCSE — Tatabahasa, KOMSAS, Karangan and exam technique.

We’re not a typical tuition centre
